On Sundays we go to church at 9:30 am. It is a one mile walk. It is beautifully quiet, although a little more trashy than usual because of the party-goers the night before. The street cleaners have not yet hit every street. Yet, it is refreshing to be up and about when others are not.
We do not go to restaurants on Sunday. We eat in. We go to les jardins or les musees. If we can find one that is free that is even better. Last Sunday we went to the Home of Victor Hugo Musee which is free and the Carnavalet Musee which is also free. The Carnavalet features the lifestyle of the Medieval period. I loved it! Much more to my taste than the Cluny Musee, although I did love the tapestries there.
Timing always amazes me. It seems God provides the most amazing moments that can only happen in those few seconds: running into Sash Nalder at the LA Temple while we were there with my cousin, seats on stage with Victor Borge with Summer where he presented her with flowers, etc.
This was God's gift to me last Sunday. Please watch the entire video. There's nothing stunning at the end; no payoff. It's just mesmerizing and soothing and allows me to give each of you a taste of what God is allowing me to experience. ;o)
...and of course it is too much memory for me to upload to the blog. If someone can teach me how to YouTube it, I will and then post that link here.
